The event focused on the implementation and the benefits of purchasing fair-trade, both for businesses at this end of the supply chain as well as for farmers, who produce fairly traded goods. We heard about the Fairtrade market and reasons for getting involved from Sam Dormer; Rosemary Hough presented BT’s Fairtrade implementation project and Kojo and Paul told us about the changes that Fairtrade has brought to their lives.
After the event, the Fairtrade Foundation's brand-new bus visited the City.
